Ohio Krav Maga & Fitness Fight For Life takes place every October, during Breast Cancer Awareness month.  OKM chose The Clara Jean Foundation based on the foundation's commitment to empowering breast cancer patients and giving them the knowledge to fight back against this disease.  Clara Jean was the mother of OKM head instructor Sue Burton, so Sue has a vested interest in helping raise money and awareness for this cause and for the foundation which she and her husband founded in her mom's honor. The foundation is run by Sue's siblings and health professionals in her hometown. 

The 2nd Annual Fight for life will take place on Saturday, October 17th, 2009.  This year's event will again include a 5k run/walk, self defense seminar, CrossFit workout as well as health fair and silent auction.  New this year will be a motorcycle poker run.

Ohio Krav Maga & Fitness is the largest Krav Maga organization in the midwest, offering 2 locations with multiple programs including Krav Maga, CrossFit, Brazillian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, Taekwondo, Boxing and Yoga.  OKM is a member and regional training center of the United States Krav Maga Association.
